The above photos are of The Grass Roots concert held in Hicksville, NY at the athletic field of Hicksville High School on July 29, 2009. It was a free concert put on by the Town of Oyster Bay on Long Island in NY. They do outdoor shows all summer long at various sites around the island. The show was cut short by rain but it was great to hear the band sounding so good and looking great. Photos and description kindly submitted by Andy G. in New York. This was a special concert because it was on lead guitarist Dusty Hanvey’s birthday! |
